In 1960 on a dark stormy night a freighter was washed ashore on the island of Inis Oirr. The Islanders quickly gathered to the wreck to rescue those on board and to salvage what they could from the battering sea.
I can’t sing Bill O’Brian’s praises highly enough. It was a pleasure to meet him and the young woman in the office. Bill was all friendliness, helpfulness and full of great stories. The tours were wonderful – wonderful views of the Cliffs of Moher and seating either outside or inside in the warmth.
